Pre-expedition team development and
management skill workshops
Are you supplying your volunteers with sufficient support pre-expedition?
Through extensive experience of expedition work, Core Training understands
that unique support needs to be provided to volunteers who are shortly
to head off to foreign lands with new acquaintances and in unfamiliar
environments. Core Training can provide a one or two day pre-expedition
development package that touches on aspects of team work, personal
and group values, cultural awareness and management by strengths.

Training Needs
Analysis
Now you are clear on your business goals and top priorities,
do you know how you are going to get there?
At Core Training we
understand that business begins with people and ends with results
and that is why we have developed a detailed training needs analysis
package. Not only does it identify the training needs of your people
but ensures that they are aligned to your business objectives.
An intensive period of interviews and questionnaires will take
place to identify exactly what the business wishes to achieve and
a report
will be produced that will then match this to the current and required
skill level of your people. Recommendations will form the conclusion
of the report. |
Leadership Assessment
Centres
How
do you ensure that a candidate's values align to your business
values and that they will be able to bring tangible results and
innovation to your company?
Run over two days, candidates will be assessed for
leadership ability aligned to your business competencies and also
put through a series of interviews, team exercises and crises situations.
This concludes with numerical and verbal reasoning exams. The assessment
matrix is a fine balance of your business competencies and each section
of the assessment centre is weighted appropriately. This will provide
a pass/fail result for each candidate with comprehensive feedback.
This feedback is also offered to the candidates. |
Offshore Team
Building Events
Having fun whilst learning, isn’t
that the best way?
In conjunction with sailing companies based in the South of England
we offer team building events that drive team working through mastering
the technique of preparing a yacht for a day of sailing and managing
situations as they arise whilst out on the water. You will learn all
the skills required to perform as a competent crew member but only
if you work as a team. All courses are run by a leadership trainer
and a fully qualified Yachtmaster.
